The answer is that many of the corporations providing technology services to small businesses and SMEs put profit ahead of critical concerns such as user privacy, security, ethics and morality. However, they provide their services for free, which is very convincing.
Other providers want to prioritise these concerns, but have to fight against the tide of free services that have deeper pockets by charging for their services.
We understand the challenges involved, but we’re also here to help our clients make informed choices, and hope they will join the ranks of grassroots movements designed to influence policy and shift toward a more ethical digital estate.
